Stage Six

The garments are then handmade.

When styling a garment I use my 25 years experience in the trade.

The cloth is manipulated using a dry iron, the canvas shaped and stitched in by hand to give perfect shape that will be maintained throughout the life of the jacket.

Linings are sewn in by hand using felling stitches.

Buttonholes are all worked by hand using silk twist.

All edges are hand stitched, to give a sharp edge that will last.

There are many hours of work in making a handmade suit and I am passionate about maintaining traditional methods.
